Where can I get an RSS reader?
There are literally hundreds of RSS readers available on the web, and the majority are free to download and use. Generally speaking, there are three different types of RSS reader.
Desktop RSS reader applications:
Desktop RSS readers are simple, quick and easy. You install them on your PC just like any other application. Free RSS readers include SharpReader, FeedReader, RSSReader, and Omea Reader.
Internet-based readers:
Free internet based website readers like Bloglines and NewsGator allow you to log in and check your feeds, a lot like web-based email accounts. Use a web-based RSS reader if you want to be able to check your feeds from any computer in any location ie at work, school or home.
Web browsers with RSS reader add ons:
Some of the most recent web browsers actually have RSS readers built in. The latest versions of Mozilla Firefox and Apple’s Safari browser both have support for RSS feeds, as well as Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7 .
